Spring is in the air and that means one thing! Time for PROM! Among the decisions you will have to make is picking a hairstyle. There are several ways to wear your hair for the prom and the decision should be made according to the style of your dress, the statement you want to convey, and your hair’s length, color, and texture. Let’s take a look at some of the most popular looks out there.
Nature Girl

If you are a Nature Girl, you probably enjoy wearing your hair long, down, and naturally wavy. You may have subtle blond highlights framing your face, but basically you like your hair to look unfussy, carefree, and fresh. Her wavy sandy brown hair, light natural makeup, and simple clothing make her a stand out on the red carpet. The prom is a great place to unleash your inner Romantic Maiden. If you love romantic movies and books like Pride and Prejudice and Romeo and Juliet, you can use that in your prom style. If you have longish hair, you may want to wear it up in the front and down in the back, with romantic tendrils pulled out around the face. Pretty blond or red highlights would look lovely with this style as well. Soft curls or natural waves will accentuate your romantic dress and accessories. If you plan to wear a tiara to the prom, you may be a Royal Princess. Tiaras, jewels, and princess-style dresses are part of the look of royalty. Beautifully coifed hair arranged in a Princess Grace-style bun shows off your pretty neck and much sought-after dress. Another variation of this look is a bejeweled high ponytail with hair wrapped around the elastic, like the main character in the 1960’s TV show I Dream of Jeannie.
Classic Lady

If you like the look of the Classic Lady, you might choose to wear your hair smooth and off the face with a fancy headband. Use hair spray or gel to keep flyaways down and hold hair in place. Don’t forget to add some sparkling makeup and a big smile to complete the look.
