During the 1980s, the hair accessory was invaluable. Almost every style involved some sort of hair accessory or embellishment to really set it off (see all the old Madonna videos!) · Social and formal occasions: On social and formal occasions you have a bigger opportunity to express your artsy side through hair accessories. Again choose sedate pieces over garish hair accessories.
Classy pieces are perfect for social occasions, whereas a little sprig of flowers or garnishment may all that is needed for formal occasions. Formal occasions are the only times that is okay to match your hair accessory to your clothing.
